Based on the insights gathered, we focused on ideas that would directly address user frustrations and enhance the overall experience. We prioritized simplifying the website’s navigation to improve usability, enhancing content clarity to better engage users, and incorporating testimonials and reviews to build credibility and trust. These changes were driven by the need to make the platform more transparent, engaging, and credible.

We began by interviewing Janos, the primary stakeholder and mentor behind the Artzone platform, to gain insight into the business goals, services, and target audience

  • Competitors & Differentiation: Competitors like Proko and Brainstorm School offer similar mentorship programs but often at higher prices. The Artzone differentiates itself through its teaching style, limited availability, and personal engagement on platforms like Discord.

  • Communication Channels: The main communication happens on Discord, supported by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and mailing lists. Building trust through YouTube content is a key component.

Method used

We employed a comprehensive range of methods to ensure the design was both user-centered and effective. These included user interviews, competitive analysis, heuristic evaluation, and usability testing. Additionally, we utilized user journey maps to understand and visualize the user experience, ideation techniques such as Crazy 8 to generate creative solutions, feature prioritization with the Impact/Effort Matrix to focus on high-value features, and task flow analysis to streamline user interactions. Wireframing and prototyping were integral in translating these insights into tangible design solutions.
