Founded in 2024 it is located in the Charlottenburg area and is already well known for its bars and restaurants. The Client wanted a minimalistic and functional design, the Logo with the Horizon in the shape of a typical Mesoamerican Petroglyph from Venezuela. Logo
I chose the Katerina Medium font for the typography because it beautifully balances modernity with ethnic influences.
Its clean yet distinctive letterforms create a contemporary feel while subtly referencing traditional design elements. This combination makes it an excellent choice for a brand that aims to blend heritage with a fresh, modern aesthetic.
Mood board
In my Mood board a decide to combine:
Cultural Influence – The petroglyph (rock engraving) and woven textile suggest a historical and artisanal approach. These elements could inspire geometric or symbolic patterns in your logo.
Nature & Landscape – The ocean and beach views evoke calmness, openness, and a connection to nature. This might influence the logo’s sunset.
Traditional Food – Arepas and combine this to the Hot Dogs, because in Venezuela we are very influence by the USA and Hot Dogs are part of our gastronomy, hint at a fusion of culinary cultures. This could lead to ideas for an organic, handcrafted logo style or typography.
Assets
I integrated iconography into the design and combined it with the logo to enhance usability and create strong brand recognition. This approach ensures that the visual identity is both functional and memorable, making it easier for users to associate the icons with the brand’s products.
Visuals
I use clean and minimalistic visuals combined with close-up shots of hot dogs and arepas, capturing their rich textures and details. The imagery features people in warm, natural settings, radiating happiness and authenticity. This approach creates an inviting and relatable visual identity that emphasizes both the quality of the food and the joy of shared experiences.
